One of Gloucester's most famous high street businesses has been put up for sale with an asking price of £79,950.
Hudson and Co Sports Ltd in Northgate Street has served generations of sports players and fans for 110 years.
But now the current owner John Hudson has put it on the market after running the sports retailing business for 33 years. It was originally established by his great grandfather way back in 1908.
The business is being sold though brokers Hilton Smythe who say: "The owner is now looking towards a very well-earned retirement. The store is very busy and extremely well-known, offering a great central location, having many long term and loyal customers.
"They specialise in Rugby Union, however they do offer a very wide range of other sports to include, football, cricket, racket sports, indoor sports, garden games and a wide range of sports clothing, footwear and equipment. They have also expanded into online sales with a good quality website.
"This is a fantastic business with a good turnover and gross profits, which would ideally suit an enthusiastic owner who could push the business forward to the next level."
The business is being sold as a leasehold opportunity. The current rent is £24,000 per annum.
The business is currently run by the owner, 3 further full-time staff and 1 part time member.
Hilton Smythe say that the shop currently turns over in the region of £350,000 per annum with a "healthy gross profit".
The current rateable value is £24,250 with rates payable of £12,662 per annum.
