Chartered financial planning firm Proposito have found their forever home, nearly two years after deciding to relocate to Cirencester from Wiltshire.

The 22-year-old company who specialise in supporting family business owners and those planning for retirement have moved to offices on Dollar Street in the centre of the town.

The Dollar Street location has its own parking facilities, providing easy access for their ever-expanding list of clients.

Huw Jones, who heads up the team at Proposito, said the company had been looking for more central premises ever since it relocated from Wiltshire to Cirencester 18 months ago.

"We are delighted to have moved into our own building in Cirencester," he said.

"The team love being based in the town and it is an excellent central location for our clients.

"Now we are in the centre, we are looking forward to getting more involved in the business activity that goes on."

Proposito was founded in 1998 and Mr Jones joined the firm in 1999. Initially based in South Wales, it relocated to North Wiltshire in 2006 and then into Cirencester in July 2018.

Many of the extensive client base have been with Mr Jones and the team from the company's early years.

Mr Jones is a Chartered Financial Planner, Certified Financial Planning professional (CFP), a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Wealth Manager.

He is a business coach, money coach and Registered Life Planner (RLP). Also in the team are paraplanner Sarah Egan and trainee financial planner Jade Shelton.

Mr Jones added: "The term Proposito has its origins in Latin and means intention, aim or purpose.

"We believe this reflects the services we provide to our clients: financial planning that is purposeful and intentional, with their goals and best interests at heart."

Mr Jones is in the process of setting up a sister company to Proposito - Cubic Coaching - where he will use his skills as a money coach to help people put strategies in place to improve their financial understanding and get better with their money.
