Fashion and accessories retailer to review store estate

Cath Kidston is to review its estate to ensure its stores are in the right places.

The quintessentially British fashion and accessories retailer, which has stores at Gloucester Quays and in Cheltenham, will review its portfolio as some of the leases reach their renewal date, as reported by Retail Gazette.

Stores in Bath and Chester and at Westfield Stratford have already closed this year.

Despite the closures, Cath Kidston says it is not looking to radically increase or decrease the number of stores it has in the UK.

The company said it will continue to close and open stores to make sure it has the best possible estate. The flagship Westfield store is set to move to the new outlet shopping centre at the O2 in Greenwich.
