EXCLUSIVE: Gloucester resident is Patch site director

Laura Griffiths has been named as site director of Gloucester's newest business, Patch.

The workspace provider is the second tenant of Gloucester's £107m Forum development, following in the footsteps of Fasthosts.

Laura brings a varied background to the role, spanning commercial property, entrepreneurship and community growth. Most recently, she managed more than 1 million sq ft of space across multiple sites at Vantage Point Business Village in Mitcheldean, where she also delivered the Forest of Dean Growth Hub.

Previously, Laura ran her own successful high street venture, Shakes 2GO, operating popular milkshake stores in Gloucester and Cheltenham for eight years.

Laura, site director of Patch at the Forum, said: "As a Gloucester resident, I'm passionate about the future of our city and its people. Patch's mission to regenerate high streets and create spaces for work, culture and connection perfectly reflects my values.

"As site director, this is an exciting opportunity to build something meaningful, bringing fresh energy to Gloucester, connecting people and creating a place in the city we can all be proud of.

"Patch at The Forum will be more than just a workspace. It will be a home where businesses and communities thrive side by side. As a cultural venue hosting events and workshops, it will showcase Gloucester's talent and creativity, serving as a beacon of local pride and an inspiring space that reconnects people with the high street."

Set to open this winter, the Forum will be the sixth and largest site for Patch, and its first to be hosted in a new build commercial development.

Freddie Fforde, founder of Patch, said: "Our site teams are the most important people in our business, curating a relevant local feel that promotes the best of their home city.

"In Laura, we are really pleased to have found that advocate for business, culture and community in Gloucester. Her deep local roots, entrepreneurial background and care for quality are all qualities we look forward to learning from and working with as we build Patch here."

The remainder of the Patch Gloucester site team will be announced later this year.
