Dr Martens sales give rivals a kicking

It's the footwear brand that never goes out of style and Dr Martens saw sales soar during the pandemic.

Despite long periods of shoe shop closures, sales rose by 15 per cent to £773 million in the year to 31st March, as reported by The Sun.

Online sales were up by a massive 73 per cent over the same period.

Overall profits slumped due to costs linked to the company's stock market listing, falling 30 per cent to £70.9 million.
