A fresh face at Davies and Partners

Wills, trust and probate specialist Matthew Penley has teamed up with Gloucester solicitors Davies and Partners.

Having built a solid 10-year career practising in Stroud and Dursley, Matthew joins Davies and Partners' Barnwood office and is a member of the firm's specialist wills, trust and probate department. He is also an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Mr Penley said: "I'm really excited for this fresh chapter, most of my career has been working with executors and trustees across Gloucestershire, including Stroud and Dursley, and I have developed a deep level of experience in key areas of practice.

He added: "Davies and Partners is a big practice with more than180 staff across four offices, so I'm looking forward to getting to work and getting to know everyone."

Nigel Tillott, director of Davies and Partners, said: "Matthew is a perfect fit for the company. He brings a special talent for listening to clients and has fantastic attention to detail. We're very pleased he has joined the team."

Additionally, he said, Matthew has a wealth of experience in the preparation of lifetime settlements, advice on inheritance tax and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney.
