County restaurant with rooms hosts Gold Cup winners

The Wharf House Restaurant with Rooms near Gloucester welcomed some extra special guests when they celebrated one of the biggest successes in the horse racing calendar.

John, Ann and Alan Potts, who own Gold Cup winner Sizing John, stayed at the Wharf House during Cheltenham Festival Week.

They had plenty of silverware to display with the Gold Cup victory following on from their Coral Cup win earlier in the week.

Most rooms are already full at The Wharf House for the 2018 Cheltenham Festival Week with customers having re-booked for next year with only a couple of rooms available for the popular event.

The Wharf House is part of the Herefordshire & Gloucestershire Canal Trust, one of the leading canal restoration charities in the UK, and has previously played host to celebrities from Amanda Holden to billionaire Roman Abramovich.
