A popular grade II 18th century inn near Stroud is up for sale for £690,000.

The price of Fostons Ash Inn has been slashed from £925,000 six months ago.

The inn, believed to have been named after a former turnpike keeper, was built around 1800. It has traded as an independent pub, bar and restaurant with 60 covers indoors and a further 80 covers inside the rented lined marquee.
