Costa to offer food from M&S

Costa coffee, with outlets across Gloucestershire, is to sell food from Marks and Spencer.

A new range of breakfast, lunch, snacks and treats from M&S Food is being rolled out at 2,500 Costa Coffee stores, including those in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud and Cirencester, and through Click & Collect from Thursday 3rd March.

Described by the marketing departments as 'like your two best friends getting married', it's a UK first for both retailers.

The partnership features 33 M&S Food classics, ranging from porridge, sandwiches and salads, to iconic sweet treats such as Yumnuts™ and Percy Pigs™.

The menu builds on Costa Coffee's own food offering and provides customers with a greater range.

Costa Coffee is also introducing new food items to the menu. These include savoury offerings from the new vegan burrito meal box to the British bacon mac and cheese bloomer toastie.

The M&S Food collaboration is part of a drive to encourage more customers to buy food with their takeaway coffee.

The M&S Food range will also be available as part of Costa Coffee's ongoing partnership with the number one anti-food waste app, Too Good To Go, which allows people to buy and collect unsold food going to waste.
