Cheltenham accountants roll out digital-only business advice guide

Shurdington-based accountants and business advisors Randall & Payne have adapted their latest magazine to reflect the current situation - renaming it the 'remote working issue'.

Around 1,000 copies of the magazine would usually be landing on the desks of businesses across the region in the coming days, but coronavirus has put a stop to that.

Instead, the 20th edition of the In Focus Magazine has become digital only.

For the first time, the digital issue has been distributed exclusively online to clients and the wider Gloucestershire business community - offering support and expert advice these unprecedented times.

Marketing manager Fiona Hughes said: "The latest edition of the magazine, where the cover is made up of photos of some of our team working from home, will certainly stand out in our archive of magazines as the one when we were on lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Business owners will find it to be a useful read - starting with a detailed summary of the Budget last month and subsequent Government support, advice about reviewing your business plan during and after the pandemic, how to increase cash flow with an R&D Tax Relief claim and much more, including a guest article from Kevin Pope of the Protrack Group on the importance of innovation."

She made it clear that while the Cheltenham office is currently closed, Randall & Payne is very much there for their clients in these worrying times and are providing support and guidance while working from home.

They are still offering advice clinics for an hour free-of-charge over the phone or by video call.

Randall & Payne are also known to enjoy a bit of fun, so while on lockdown, they have put together a toilet roll challenge video which begins with partner Will Abbott being 'caught short' and making a call to managing partner Tim Watkins.

Watch how the staff get involved to deliver it to Will in a variety of different ways...
