150th SPECIAL EDITION: Punchline Talks! with Jon McGinty, Sam Holliday, Ian Mean & Nigel Phillips

Each Friday, Punchline-Gloucester.com editor Mark Owen is joined by leading Gloucestershire business figures from a range of backgrounds to review Friday's national and regional newspapers and discuss what is happening in their own business sector and their own individual businesses.

Finally, they round off by picking the stories that have caught their eye in this week's Punchline-Gloucester.com.

The Business Breakfast Briefer show is sponsored by Hazlewoods Accountants and Business Advisors.

This week we celebrate the 150th show of Punchline Talks! The Business Breakfast Briefers - so we've ripped up the rule book and asked our panel of business experts to tell us what their biggest story of the past 28 months is, both nationally and locally.

There are so many to chose from: The Queen dying, the creation of the covid vaccination jab, the end of covid, the war in Ukraine, the cost of living crisis and the countless Prime Ministers - in fact we have never know a period like it. And Punchline-Gloucester.com has been there to cover it all.

Today our special guests are:

Jon McGinty - CEO of Gloucester City Council.

Sam Holliday - Business Development Manager for the FSB.

Ian Mean - Director of Business West.

Nigel Phillips - Beekeeper, Organic Farmer and Fisherman.

Today we also find out all about the national fishing competition that is taking part in in Gloucester this weekend and what it means to the local economy.

So after 150 shows, over 28 months, welcoming nearly 350 guests covering thousands of stories - we would just like to thank all those that have taken part - its been great fun. Hopefully, you have been entertained, informed and offered a bit light relief during a very dark and confusing period we have collectively shared.

And of course we would like to thank all those that watch the show - far and wide. We really do appreciate it.
