Businesses sought for new Forest of Dean development

Back in 2017, Forest of Dean District Council revealed plans to regenerate the former Lawnstone house, bungalow and annex site in Coleford into a mix of high-quality housing and commercial units.
The new business units, ranging from 72 to 80 sq. m, are nearing completion and have been brought to the market by Gloucester-based commercial property experts Kurt Wyman.
Ideal for start-ups in the retail and service sector, the buildings are designed to low-energy standards - better than current building regulations.
Now known as 'Foxglove Gardens', the scheme introduces some welcome green space into the town centre to create an attractive setting for businesses.
The development is named after the ornamental tree chosen to feature, the Foxglove Tree, and is scheduled for completion on the 9th of December 2019, with access for commercial tenants from mid-November.
Local and low-energy materials have been used wherever possible - brick from Coleford Brick and Tile, Formpave from Forterra block paving and stone from Forest of Dean Stone firms.
The Council hopes that by bringing vibrant new business into this section of Coleford, it will encourage more activity in the town as a whole.
One of the units is currently under offer as a cafe, with the remaining two available to retail and service businesses.
Kurt Wyman Property Agents are the first point of contact for interested businesses, and units can be viewed on Rightmove and their website.
