The Corporate team at Cheltenham-based BPE Solicitors has acted for longstanding client Partners& on its purchase of independent insurance broker Ives & Taylor Group Ltd (Ives TG).

With 12 offices across the UK, Partners& said the acquisition is in line with a strategy to build a hub in the North of England and brings strong commercial lines, professional indemnity, and private client practices into its portfolio.

Corporate partner Adam Kean, with assistance from associate Angharad Doyle and solicitor Rupert Parker, worked closely with Partners& CEO Phil Barton and his team to ensure the transaction with Stephen Buckley and Anthony Procter (the management team of Ives TG) went smoothly.

BPE's Corporate team previously acted for Partners& advising on a significant investment from private equity firm Capital Z Partners and the subsequent acquisition of six insurance advisory businesses.
