Boots launches 'buy now pay later' online

Boots has launched a Klarna payments option both online and via its app.

The new partnership with the buy now pay later giant will ensure shoppers enjoy a "smooth payment experience".

Customers can choose to pay upfront, within 30 days, or split their purchase into three interest-free instalments, Retail Gazette has reported.

Shoppers will also be able to track their Boots orders via the Klarna app.

The health and beauty giant first rolled out Klarna payments back in 2022 for shoppers in over 2,000 of its stores as well as across Boots Opticians.

Raji Behal,  head of Western and Southern Europe at Klarna, said: "We're excited to bring Klarna's flexible payment options to boots.com and the Boots app following our in-store launch, offering shoppers the freedom to manage their purchases, from everyday essentials to special treats like cosmetics and curlers."

Earlier this month, the business told all head office employees that it would be reverting to working in the office five days a week from 1 September.

The retailer said it wanted to make its offices in Nottingham, London and Weybridge a "normal place of work" for its employees.
