Bigger and better Springfest event at Gloucester Quays is a huge success

Springfest, the longest-ever Easter event at Gloucester Quays, was a great success.

The number of visitors increased three per cent compared to last year and sales at the rapidly expanding outlet centre were up by more than 16 per cent.

Springfest provided two weeks of fun and fantastic entertainment for all the family over the Easter holiday fortnight.

A thrilling Adventure Zone, colourful Spring Market and 'Bunny Run' Easter Trail were just some of the many attractions.

Gloucester Quays centre manager Matt Bird said: "We are delighted that Springfest, which was bigger and longer-lasting than any of our previous Easter events, was so successful.

"We have had fantastic feedback from visitors whose positive comments have shown just how much they enjoyed the two weeks of fashion, fun and adventure."

Springfest is just one of many popular events that will be rolled out at Gloucester Quays throughout a fun-packed 2017.

Matt Bird added: "Because Springfest has been so successful we are now looking to extend the summer festival and other seasonal events at Gloucester Quays so they run for longer. More details about these will be announced soon."

With so much going on at Gloucester Quays in 2017 there really will be the opportunity for visitors to "Experience More" at this fast-growing outlet centre.
