Big Student Unlock heading for Regent Arcade

There's just a few days to go until the annual student shopping event at Cheltenham's Regent Arcade shopping centre, in which students get the chance to crack a safe and win prizes, including a Samsung Galaxy tablet.

To get a pin for the Big Student Unlock and qualify for all of the in-centre student offers, students need to pre- register for the event at www.regentarcade.co.uk. The event starts at 9am Monday 24 September and runs until 5pm on Sunday 30 September.

This year's event is the biggest yet, with exclusive offers for students all week throughout Regent Arcade on presentation of a valid student identity card. Most of the shopping centre's big-name brands including Topshop, Top Man, H & M, Shuh and Skechers are taking part, with discounts of up to 25 per cent available.

The giant safe forms the focal point for the event and will be located near HMV. Students can enter their unique pin number for a chance to win great prizes.

Centre manager Scott Lahive said: "We decided to make the event last a week instead of just one night for the first time this year. Money can be tight when you are studying, so it's the ideal opportunity to make the most of the very special discounts and freebies available all week.

"Getting to know your way around the town and finding the best places to shop are high on any student's agenda, and the retailers here at the Regent Arcade are looking forward to meeting them."
