Bed retailer launches outlet format

Bensons for Beds will launch its first outlet store this week.

Bensons Outlet is set to open at Lakeside Village in Doncaster on Friday (October 28) in a former Gap store, as reported by Retail Gazette.

Bensons for Beds, which has a store in Gloucester, said the new shop will offer beds, mattresses, bedroom furniture and bedding at up to 60 per cent off.

Products for sale will include clearance, sale and fully refurbished returns from the retailer's stores across the country.

Bensons for Beds said its other stores will continue to provide discounts and value for money, but the outlet store will give shoppers special deals on items they can take away that day.

It's been a busy week for Bensons, which only last week bought mattress retailer, Eve Sleep, out of administration.
