Around £40k and cocaine seized following Gloucestershire police operation

Gloucestershire Constabulary have said that approximately £40,000 in cash and a significant amount of cocaine has been seized as part of a surveillance led operation in the county.

They added that three men have also been arrested in connection with the investigation into the supply of class A drugs.

A vehicle which is believed to have travelled from London was brought to a stop by police on the A40 Oxford Road yesterday, April 22.

Searches warrants were also executed at addresses in Gloucester and London in connection with the investigation. Alongside the large amount of cash, approximately half a kilogram of suspected cocaine was also seized.

Two men from Gloucester, aged 52 and 57, were arrested on suspicion of the supply of class A drugs and a 41-year-old man from Enfield, London was arrested on suspicion of money laundering.

All three remain in police custody today, Thursday 23 April.
