Surfwear brand Animal has been relaunched as an online-only retailer by new owner Mountain Warehouse.

Mountain Warehouse, which has stores in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Cirencester and Tewkesbury, acquired the collapsed retailer earlier this year.

Animal shuts its shops in Cheltenham and Gloucester a few years ago, and closed the remainder of its stores permanently last year during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mountain Warehouse rescued the brand from disappearing completely and bought it out. It has just announced that it will relaunch Animal as an online-only retailer in time for summer.

Animal's spring/ summer 2021 collection includes a range of more than 400 products across womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, shoes and accessories.

Much of Animal's range is made with recycled and organic fabrics and uses more sustainable packaging.
