Angry motorist outburst at having car seized by Cirencester Police

A motorist was so angry when police seized his car for having no tax and insurance in Cirencester, that he smashed a window of the vehicle - then threw his keys down a drain!
The outburst only made things worse for him - the police reported him for obstructing them in their duty!
The Cirencester Neighbourhood Police Team had been checking cars in the Cotswolds town when they spotted a Hyundai 130 parked without tax, insurance or MoT.
Officers impounded the vehicle and a transporter truck was sent to take it away to the police pound.
Tweeting an image of the dark coloured car with its rear nearside window visibly smashed, Cotswolds Police tweeted "Cirencester NPT seize yet another motor with no tax, MOT or insurance. The driver was so mad he smashed the window and put the keys down the drain and added an obstruction summons to the list."
Responding to the tweet one reader, MC46, said "Hopefully his front door key was on his key fob. Trouble is with such impotent fines there is no deterrent. Crush it!"
And Maine Noonan commented "Great work. If you drive your car without correct docs you may well be caught and the vehicle will be impounded. The only person you can be angry at is yourself, it is no one else's fault but your own."
