Abnormal loads cause delays in Gloucestershire

A number of abnormal loads are being escorted through the county by Gloucestershire Police this week.
Drivers are being warned of delays as the modular buildings are moved from Gloucester Services on the M5 southbound to Drybrook.
The loads are moving today (Tuesday 1 June), tomorrow (2 June) and Wednesday (3 June). There will be further loads moved on Monday 7 June and Tuesday 8 June.
The convoys will travel along the B4008 and A38 to Gloucester. The route also includes the A430, A40, A4136, Baynham Road, Mitcheldean through the Stenders to Drybrook.
Gloucestershire Constabulary has thanked residents in Baynham Road, Mitcheldean for their co-operation while these vehicles pass through the area.
