A417 Missing Link: Overnight closures

Overnight road closures will take place next week as part of the A417 Missing Link works.

Leckhampton Hill will be closed between the Air Balloon Roundabout and Ullenwood Manor Road at the following times:

• Dates: Monday, September 22 to Saturday, September 27

• Times: Nightly from 9pm to 6am

The road will reopen at 6am on Saturday, September 27.

Signage will be in place to guide drivers along the diversion route via Seven Springs. The A436 and A417 will remain open to traffic as normal.

These closures are required so Kier Transportation can carry out utility diversions, topsoiling and complete work on access routes leading to Crickley Hill Country Park.

Kier is working on the £460 million scheme on behalf of National Highways to improve the existing A417.
