14 new homes delivered for Sovereign Living in Cheltenham

Mullins House, designed by Cheltenham architect, coombes:everitt architects, has now been completed, delivering 14 quality new homes.

The development purchased by Sovereign Living contains a mix of one and two bedroom apartments built to a high quality and design. With free flowing open plan living, high quality kitchens and large bathrooms these apartments offer their new residents modern contemporary living.

The new homes are located within the established residential area of Swindon Road, less than a mile from The Brewery Quarter, offering easy access to the shops and leisure facilities.

John Everitt, Director at coombes:everitt architects commented on the new homes. "Prior to us working on this development planning had been secured for 10 homes, but we could see that there was a lot of potential in the site and with the local housing shortage we felt it was important to get the most out of the site. By reworking the scheme we secured an additional 4 homes for the development as well as much needed parking. It is great to see the homes being filled through Sovereign Living and we hope the residents enjoy their new contemporary homes."

The new scheme has some interesting design details, predominantly built using a timber frame construction, the building has a large concrete deck to accommodate three flats and the under croft parking.

Tony Quigley, Home Ownership Director at Sovereign Living, commented: "This is a great development, with 14 new quality and contemporary homes, designed and fitted to a really high standard."

"Mullins House is a great example of what can be achieved by regenerating disused and abandoned spaces with cleverly designed buildings."
