The UK's consumer champion has revealed a Tewkesbury company is Trusted Trader of the Year at the 2025 Which? Awards.

LCM Flat Roofing is a family-run roofing business, which covers all aspects of roofing, including fascias, soffits, guttering, chimneys and conservatory conversions.

Writing on Facebook, LCM Flat Roofing, said: "We are officially the Which? Trusted trader of the Year! Could not be happier. We have worked so hard for this prestigious award and what a fantastic feeling it is.

"We have had many ups and downs, some real low moments such as having our van and tools stolen, so this award really makes it all feel worthwhile.

"We want to continue doing what we do, which is providing an honest, trustworthy service and commitment to our valued customers. We appreciate every single one of you and our team, who work incredibly hard. We wouldn't be without you guys."

Which?'s expert judges whittled down top picks of brands going above and beyond for consumers in 13 categories ranging from home appliances to electric vehicles.

LCM was given the award for its outstanding customer service and delivering great work. The consumer champion said reviews frequently mention how the company goes above and beyond, demonstrating not just technical skill, but also integrity and customer-first approach.

It said, beyond commercial success, LCM Flat Roofing has shown a true commitment to giving back, such as finding time to fix a leaking roof for a veterinary hospital immediately, despite a packed schedule.

The judging panel said: "LCM Flat Roofing has truly set itself apart, standing out among a strong panel of five finalists. Their outstanding reputation, exceptional service and commitment to their craft have earned them this well-deserved recognition. In an industry where trust and expertise are paramount, their ability to build lasting relationships with customers is impressive."

AJT Showers, Balhousie Glazing, Easystep Stairlifts and Regal Kitchens were also shortlisted for the award.
