New deli coming to Cirencester

Cotswold dining hub, Roots + Seeds Kitchen Garden, has announced the opening of Roots + Seeds Deli located opposite its café and restaurant on the edge of Cirencester Park.

In keeping with the Roots + Seeds' 'farm to fork' ethos, the deli has a traceable supply chain and an extensive range of the finest seasonal produce from established and newly discovered suppliers and producers, including daily picked produce from the Roots + Seeds on-site kitchen garden.

Toby Baggott, Roots + Seeds founder, said: "Everything our suppliers deliver to the kitchen will be available to buy in our new Deli. We want to celebrate the amazing produce grown literally on our doorstep and introduce our incredible and dedicated suppliers to a wider audience."

With many local suppliers and producers stocked at Roots + Seeds Deli customers can buy ground and whole bean coffee from Cheltenham's Ritual Coffee Roasters and Rave Coffee of Cirencester; Benson's Juices; free range, rare breed eggs, honey from Cirencester & District Bee Association, meat from Jessie Smith Butchers, home-made jams, chutneys, pickles and preserves and fresh-picked produce from the on-site kitchen garden; plus so much more from the region.

Toby added: "Sustainability is very much part of our overall goal. We will continually strive to reduce food miles and our carbon footprint, from sourcing as much seasonal produce locally to fulfilling a long-held dream of using produce grown on-site for our restaurant and now to supply the new Deli too.

Roots + Seeds Deli will open on Saturday 9th March 2024 then Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.
