Event will be a scorcher!

Three county charities are teaming up to challenge brave 'soles' in the name of fundraising.

Stroud Valleys Project, Allsorts and The Door are inviting daring participants to test their mettle in a hot challenge at Stonehouse Court Hotel. They'll be walking over hot coals to raise money for charity.

Jonnie and Wendy Fell are coming all the way from Wales to take part in memory of their son's partner Holly, who died suddenly aged just 24.

"We're so happy to support Stroud Valleys Project by doing the fire walk, because Holly loved wildlife, especially foxes," explained Wendy. "We love to push ourselves to try new things because she's no longer here to do them."

The event is being sponsored by Irwin Mitchell, and there are still a handful of places available. To sign up, visit Stroud Fire Walk  and select your chosen charity.

All fire walkers will receive full training on the night from Blaze, who are organising the event.

The fire walk takes place on Friday, September 29th.
