Coleford Carnival of Transport returns

Coleford Carnival of Transport is back for its silver anniversary and helping to keep our local Air Ambulance flying.

Organisers are delighted to announce that, in its 25th year, the Coleford Carnival of Transport have chosen to support Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) with their fundraising activities.

On Easter Monday every year the town centre of Coleford closes down from all normal activity and is taken over by a huge exhibition of classic, custom and vintage vehicles. From 10am to 4pm you can enjoy the hundreds of exhibits and other entertainment.

Come and visit the GWAAC stand to find out more about what they do to save lives in our local community.

Emma Fawcett from GWAAC said "We are absolutely delighted to have the support of the Coleford Carnival of Transport in this special anniversary year. We are hugely looking forward to the day and seeing all the fantastic exhibits on display.

"Fundraising from community events such as these is absolutely vital for GWAAC to continue providing their life-saving service for our local community."

The Coleford Carnival of Transport is entirely free to visit and is just the thing to keep you and the family entertained. Taking place every Easter Monday, there are not just vehicles, but a plethora of other entertainment, including fairground rides, food and drink and craft stands.

Do you have a car, bike, truck or other vehicle of interest? You can exhibit them at the Coleford Carnival of Transport! With many thousands of visitors, there isn't a better place in the Forest of Dean to show your vehicles. Exhibiting is free but a donation to GWAAC is requested.
