Talented members of a Cotswold church are preparing to take part in its first-ever Creative Arts Festival.
The congregation at Chipping Campden Baptist Church is blessed with a good number of creative types, including artists and photographers.
Now the church has decided to hold a Creative Arts Festival at the High Street church building on Saturday 30th September from 10am to 4.30pm and Sunday 1st October from 2pm until 4.30pm.
As well as paintings and photographs, the festival will include digital art, knitting, crochet, willow weaving, toy making and jewellery. It will also feature the musical talents of its members.
Maralyn Harvey, one of the festival organisers, said: "There are so many creative people in our congregation that we wanted to do something to showcase their talents and the idea of a Creative Arts Festival was born.
"We're really looking forward to staging the festival in our lovely church building and we're excited to welcome lots of visitors from near and far into the building over the weekend."
Admission to the festival is free with donations invited to Cancer Research. Refreshments will be available.
