Cheltenham Observation Wheel returns to Imperial Gardens

Get ready for a 'wheely' good time as the Cheltenham Observation Wheel gears up for its triumphant return to Imperial Gardens.

The wheel, operated by The Giant Wheel Company and hosted by the Cheltenham BID, promises a spin-tastic experience with panoramic views over the Regency rooftops of Cheltenham.

Operating daily from Friday, February 9, until Sunday, March 3, the Observation Wheel will be in full swing, offering extended opening hours on weekends and throughout the half-term holiday.

To celebrate the return, family entertainment will take place in Imperial Gardens. Young children can enjoy a ride on a teapot fairground ride at weekends and during half-term week, TV characters Bluey and Bingo, will make guest appearances on Saturday, February 8 (this popular free event sold out within hours of going live on social media).

On Saturday, February 17, Titan the Robot, the robo-star who's travelled the world and charmed audiences on Britain's Got Talent, will perform an electrifying free family show. Catch Titan's legendary wit and moves that'll leave you speechless 11:30-12pm, 1-1.30pm & 2.30-3pm.

Celebrate Valentine's week with a dazzling heart light installation in Imperial Gardens. Capture the perfect Instagram selfie with your sweetheart before embarking on a romantic ride on the wheel.

New for this year, students can take advantage of a great special offer - the chance to soar over the rooftops of Cheltenham for just £6, plus enjoy exclusive offers at three independent eateries - The Artisan Baker, Moolicious, and Chaplais Kitchen.

This spectacular event follows the success of previous years. Heath Gunter, chief executive of Cheltenham BID, said: "We are excited to see the return of the Cheltenham Observation Wheel. The attraction not only gives residents and visitors the opportunity to see beautiful Cheltenham from a different perspective but also brings increased footfall to our businesses during a quieter period of the year. I look forward to seeing all the amazing photos on social media!"
