Anti-monarchist choir celebrate the new monarch!

A local choir with a healthy proportion of staunch republicans will celebrate music from the reigns of two Elizabeths and three Charleses on Saturday, July 15th.

The highly respected Cappella Singers will be performing splendid music from five coronations.

The choir will be joined by an exciting array of period instruments as well as modern brass.

The music includes newly commissioned works welcoming Charles III. The anti-monarchists among the choir will just enjoy the glorious music for its own sake!

The instrumentalists and soloists include many well-known musicians, including Hannah Grove, James Gilchrist, Adrian Woodward and Warwick Cole. The musical director is Philip Colls.

The concert will be at Holy Trinity Parish Church in Minchinhampton, 7.30pm on Saturday, July 15th.

Tickets can be bought in advance from Ticketsource at www.cappellasingers.co.uk
