Four historic homes have joined forces this summer to offer families and history enthusiasts the chance to save money on their visit with a new Stately Explorer scheme.

Sudeley Castle & Gardens, in Winchcombe, Eastnor Castle, in Ledbury, Berkeley Castle and Spetchley Park, near Worcester, have formed a partnership to encourage more people to visit them all.

The new Stately Explorer scheme allows guests to visit attractions for half the price they would normally pay, having previously purchased one full price ticket at any of the other participating venues. Simply keep your receipt from the first venue to enjoy 50 per cent off admission at the next.

Annual pass holders for any of the listed attractions can also take advantage of the offer and receive a 50 per cent reduction on their ticket for any subsequent historic sites they visit.

Sian Jocelyn, visitor services manager at Sudeley Castle & Gardens, said: "The team at Sudeley are really excited by this new partnership and I think it is a fantastic opportunity to provide real value to our guests this season.

"It's the first time we've launched an offer of this kind, so I hope people will take full advantage and visit our friends Eastnor Castle, Berkeley Castle and Spetchley Park, for a fraction of the usual price. 

"What's more, if the pass is a success this year, we'd love to discuss opening it up to more venues across the county in 2018."

Opening times for the attractions vary and the offer is not valid for some ticketed events.
