Woman arrested following suspected stabbing in Gloucester

A 40-year-old women from Gloucester has been arrested following a suspected stabbing in London Road yesterday (April 25).

Police were called to a property at 2.35pm after it was reported that a man in his 30s had been stabbed sustaining serious injuries. 

He has since been taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for treatment.

The woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident. She remains in police custody.

A scene guard is currently in place while enquiries continue.

Investigating officers are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or witnessed what happened to complete this form  quoting incident 257 of 25 April.
