Shed break-ins – Two men charged

Two men have been charged after a series of shed break-ins in the Berkeley area in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Damian Galliford, 22, of no fixed abode, has been charged with four counts of burglary dwelling and theft.

Kirk Jarvis, 36, of Badger Road, Thornbury, has also been charged with four counts of burglary dwelling and theft.

Following an appeal yesterday for people to check their outhouses and sheds, a number of victims came forward.

Nearly all of the property owners have now been identified after a large amount of gardening equipment and tools were recovered.

Both men have been bailed and are due to appear in court 6 July.
