SGS College and Business West Skills Conference

SGS College and Business West are teaming up for a business skills conference in June.

The conference takes place on Friday June 28 from 9am until 1:30pm at SGS Wise Campus in Bristol.

It is focused on regional skills solutions, including an update on the Local Skills Improvement Plan and on strategic developments at SGS College.

Individual conference sessions will look at practical opportunities for employers, organisations and other stakeholders to work with SGS College and with Business West to shape regional skills solutions.

Every year, SGS College trains more than 4,000 young people, 1,000 apprentices and more than 3,000 adults for the regional economy.

With skills shortages at an all-time high, conference delegates will hear how they can be involved in shaping this training to ensure that SGS students are equipped with a skillset aligned to their current and future workforce requirements.

Programme for the day:

• 9am - 9:30am - Registration, coffee and networking

• 9:30am - 9:50am - Welcome

• 9:50am - 10:30am - Curriculum design to meet future workforce needs
