Endangered crafts subject of lecture

Court Barn and the Friends of Court Barn have announced that the 2024 Ashbee Memorial Lecture will take place in Chipping Campden on Monday, April 22.

Mary Lewis, head of craft sustainability at Heritage Crafts will explore 'The Red List of Endangered Crafts' at Chipping Campden Town Hall at 5.30pm for 6pm.

Heritage Crafts is a national charity which has made a significant impact across the craft sector and beyond with its focus on endangered craft practices.

The Red List produced by Mary and her team has become a focus of support for these crafts and their survival into the next generation.

The lecture will be preceded by a drinks reception at 5.30pm. Tickets are £17, or £15 for Friends of Court Barn.
