VIDEO: CARPENTRY Louis Bray Barratt Homes

To mark National Apprenticeship Week (February 6-12), Punchline-Gloucester.com has been talking to apprentices and people who work with apprentices from around the county.

Louis Bray, 17, is an apprentice carpenter with Barratt Homes. He is currently working on a building site on first fix, including external doors, and second fix, including internal doors and skirting boards, as well as roofs and joists.

Louis will take his Level 2 exam in the spring, then hopes to move onto a Level 3 apprenticeship, which will take a further year.

Barratt Homes is a national housebuilder, with developments all over the UK, including recent developments in Gloucester, Stonehouse, Innsworth and Newent.
