VIDEO: Championing apprentices Julia Russell Renishaw

Following on from National Apprenticeship Week last week, Punchline-Gloucester.com is continuing our campaign to champion apprenticeships from across the county.

Julia Russell is apprentice lead at Renishaw, which currently employs around 250 apprentices in the UK.

About a quarter of Renishaw's apprentices are upskilling as part of their current job roles and the rest join as new recruits, going straight onto the apprenticeship programmes. Renishaw has nearly 30 different apprenticeship schemes, from Level 2 to Level 7.

Renishaw is a global engineering and manufacturing company, which has its headquarters in Wotton-under-Edge. Renishaw is involved in software, mechanics and electronics. It has a global workforce of 4,500 people and 81 sites in 37 countries.
