University of Gloucestershire celebrated in gaming awards

The University of Gloucestershire has been shortlisted in three categories in national gaming awards.
TIGA, the trade association representing the UK's video games industry, has revealed the shortlist for the TIGA UK Games Education Awards 2024. The awards recognise outstanding students, education providers and best practice in the industry.
Cath Lambert from the university has been shortlisted in the Graduate of the Year: Artist category.
Mia Kellet from the university has been shortlisted in the Graduate of the Year: Programmer category.
And the university has been shortlisted in the Best Student Game category with Phantom Paws.
The winners of the 12 categories will be announced in a virtual ceremony in the autumn.
Dr Richard Wilson OBE, TIGA CEO, said: "The TIGA Education Awards shortlist highlights leaders in games education - outstanding students, excellent providers and good practice in education. We look forward to revealing the cream of the crop when we announce the winners of the awards."
