Timpson offers opportunities to convicted criminals

Shoe repair and key cutting specialist, Timpson, is offering convicted criminals the chance to work for the company.

In a tweet, James Timpson (@JamesTCobbler), the company's chief executive said: Good news. Now our shops are all open we are recruiting again, so if you know of anyone with a criminal conviction, who has an amazing personality and is looking for work, please contact @darrenburns60 so we can sort an interview out.

One of the many people who replied to the tweet, Jack Twigg (@JackTwigg4), said: This is exactly what I did in October 2020 and haven't looked back! Now managing my own branch of Timpson. An amazing company to work for! Amazing colleagues, staff and management right through!
