Ribston 6th form open evening

Ribston Hall High School in Gloucester is inviting all year 11 students to find out about its sixth form offering.

The open evening on Thursday December 1 is a chance to meet current students, chat with the teachers and senior leadership team, and take a closer look at subject options, enrichment opportunities and universities for the future.

Students will have the opportunity to hear from the sixth form senior leadership team and the head girl team, representing the student body.

There will also be representation from a number of universities, who will be available to discuss longer-term goals.

This year, 71 per cent of Ribston students achieved A Levels graded A*-B. This places the 2022 results even higher than the elevated results of the two pandemic years, going against the national trend, which this year dropped to 62 per cent.

Students headed to University of Cambridge, University of Cardiff, York, Southampton, Portsmouth, Nottingham and Exeter to name just a few, and are studying courses as diverse as agriculture, ancient history and archaeology, civil engineering, dietetics, geography, law, medicine, music, psychology and wildlife conservation.

Book a place for the open evening here.
