Online technology celebration event for children

Gloucestershire-based Renishaw is celebrating the T in STEM with a technology event for pupils in years 5 to 9 (ages 9-14) next week.
The virtual technology presentation will take place 11.30-12.15 on Saturday 15th May and is free to join.
The session will include:
• An introduction to Renishaw
• What is technology?
• Design and Technology - a sneak preview inside some everyday items
• 3D printing - an exciting new technology
Renishaw is one of the world's leading engineering and scientific technology companies, with expertise in precision measurement and healthcare. The company employs over 4,400 people worldwide and supplies products for use in applications as diverse as jet engine and wind turbine manufacture, through to 3D printing, dentistry and brain surgery.
The online session will take place on Microsoft Teams.
