Renishaw early careers virtual event

Looking for a career in engineering? Renishaw can help point you in the right direction with its virtual event next week.

Renishaw offers both apprenticeship and graduate routes into a rewarding career in engineering.

During the event on Tuesday 19th January, the company will explore the different options it offers to students to help decide on the best pathway to suit them.

Renishaw, based in Wotton-under-Edge, is one of the world's leading engineering and scientific technology companies, with expertise in precision measurement and healthcare. The company employs over 4,400 people worldwide and supplies products for use in applications as diverse as jet engine and wind turbine manufacture, through to 3D printing, dentistry and brain surgery.

The live virtual event will give students and their parents/ guardians the opportunity to find out more about how to begin a career in engineering.

The company outline its different apprenticeship schemes and the different levels it offers, as well as details of summer and industrial placement schemes and its graduate schemes.

The one hour session will cover:

• An introduction to Renishaw

• Information about its apprenticeship schemes

• Information about placements and graduate schemes

• Journey talks by some apprentices and graduates

• Interactive Q & A session

The session is suitable for students in school year 10 and above.
