Hartpury University has a research community that's driving positive change through the creation of new science in animal and equine health and welfare; biodiversity and digital farming; as well as sports performance and public health.

Research students are supported by the university's experienced researchers and a network of campus-based and virtual experts to help them to develop personally, professionally and academically.

Technological and scientific developments are rapidly influencing our industries, making innovative research essential to sustainable real-world practice. Hartpury University provides the ideal environment to support research students to get involved in developing their own expertise, whilst making a difference in an area that matters to them.

Research students will be supported by specialist academics to design and execute high-quality research that uncovers solutions to real-world challenges, contributing to the improvement of the lives of people and animals, as well as the planet. They will work with established researchers who are also leading coaches, trainers, scientists, behaviourists, nutritionists, veterinary professionals, psychologists and more.

Access to exciting workshops, industry events, national and global conferences will provide research students with valuable networking opportunities, enabling them to develop new industry and academic partnerships and promote their expertise where it matters.
