Gloucestershire Engineering Training (GET) is opening a brand-new higher education facility.

The new centre is just a couple of doors down from GET's existing facility at Barnwood Point, Corinium Avenue in Gloucester.

With the continued growth and demand for higher-level engineering education, GET said the centre will significantly enhance its ability to deliver advanced engineering education, equipping more learners with the skills they need to succeed in the industry.

Writing on LinkedIn, GET said: "Our strong relationships with over 80 employers across the county have enabled us to create a training environment that brings more learners into engineering and ensures they leave with outstanding skills and knowledge.

"Through this expansion, we aim to further develop our provision from Level 2 to higher education, opening doors for many aspiring engineers and strengthening our region's industrial future."
