Hartpury shortlisted in student choice awards

Hartpury University has been shortlisted in five categories in this year's Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCA).

The WUSCA higher education awards are based solely on student choice.

Each year, the WUSCA team receives approximately 35,000 verified reviews from on-campus visits across the country and online submissions via the whatuni.com website.

Hartpury University has been shortlisted in the following categories:

• University of the Year

• Career Prospects

• Student Support

• Lecturers and Teaching Quality

• Facilities

Russell Marchant, vice-chancellor of Hartpury University, said: "It's always an incredible privilege to be shortlisted for a Whatuni Student Choice Award - and in this case, an honour to be named in five categories, as they're voted on by the individuals that matter most - our students.

"Our students are partners and co-creators in their education, so having a platform whereby they can provide unbiased feedback on the issues they care most about, as well as making creative suggestions for areas of improvement, helps institutions to grow and improve.

"We've invested over £50 million in our campus facilities over the last decade and are continuing with further major investments. This is just one part of a wider strategy to provide students with the best possible learning experience in a friendly, welcoming environment. It's hugely encouraging to see the work we're doing is appreciated and reflected with these nominations."

The WUSCAs are the only annual awards that are based solely on the views of real students studying in the UK and allow students to access honest, unbiased data to make the right choices about their future on the Whatuni platform.

This year's Whatuni Student Choice Awards winners will be announced on May 24 at an awards dinner in London.
