Hartpury to host British Rowing talent search

British Rowing is on the hunt for new talent and is holding a testing day next month.

The event is open to young people aged 13 to 20 from Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas, who want to test their potential in the sport of rowing.

The British Rowing Talent ID Mass Testing Day, hosted by the Hartpury Talent ID Centre (Performance Development Academy), will take place at 10am on Sunday, February 9.

Participants will undergo a series of physical measurements and strength tests. Weather permitting, they'll also have the chance to experience rowing on the water in a taster session.

The Hartpury centre is a cornerstone of one of the most successful talent identification programmes in the world, identifying around 50 talented young people every year who show promise in the sport. It offers pathways to regional, national and international rowing success.
