Green skills training opportunities for Forest residents

South Gloucestershire and Stroud (SGS) College will be running green skills courses in the Forest of Dean, starting soon - and it's not too late to sign up!
The three courses are offered by Forest of Dean District Council and SGS College, funded via the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The courses are designed to improve the pathways into the construction industry and upskill current professionals.
The available courses are:
- Introduction to Green Skills for career pathways into the green skills sector - held at the Belle Vue Centre, Cinderford on January 27 to January 31.
- Skills Bootcamp: Solar PV Installation earn accredited Level 3 qualifications in the installation and maintenance of solar PV - held at Forest of Dean Growth Hub on January 15 to March 28.
- Skills Bootcamp: Air Source Heat Pump Installation earn accredited Level 3 qualifications in installation and maintenance of air source heat pumps - held at Forest of Dean Growth Hub on February 3 to February 21.
These sessions will help to put the Forest of Dean on the map as a hub of green skills learning.
