College course will help fill NHS facilities roles

Gloucestershire College is holding a course in June to help fill essential roles in the county's hospitals.

The two-week course is open to anyone aged over 19 who is either in receipt of benefits or earning less than £18,525.

The course at Gloucestershire College's Gloucester campus aims to recruit new NHS facilities staff to work in catering, cleaning and portering roles.

All participants will have a guaranteed interview for a portering or housekeeping job at the end of the course.

Jobseekers will also receive a Level 1 accredited qualification in personal development for employability and customer service for taking part.

Find out more and apply for a place on the course at JobSmart@gloscol.ac.uk or by calling 01452 563278.
