Free digital courses starting this month

Adult Education in Gloucestershire is offering a range of free digital courses for eligible learners.
To register for enrolment on any of the courses, send an email to the course leader - amanda.cooper@gloucestershire.gov.uk and state which course you wish to join.

Social Media for Marketing L2 Qualification
Classroom-based course: Gloucester
Daytime Class - Monday November 6, 2023
Time 1pm-3:30pm

The 'design your own website' six-week course could be just what you are looking for!
Office IT skills: Develop Microsoft skills
Classroom-based course: Gloucester
Starts: Thursday November 9, 10am-12:30pm
This is a 15-week course.
Up-skill and advance your IT skills with the intermediate Microsoft Office course. Learn new techniques to improve your skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
You will learn to produce a document and poster using word processing and gain the skills needed to incorporate images. You will learn to create, modify and interact with spreadsheets, as well as sorting data, writing formulas and using spreadsheet functions for calculations.
This course is for you if you want to study and improve your skills and confidence in the foundations and building blocks in the most commonly used Microsoft Office applications.
Excel Spreadsheets for Beginners
Online course/ flexible learning
Course opens: Tuesday November 7
This is a six-week introduction to Excel course. You will learn how to manipulate and process data to produce charts, graphs and account sheets to record in-comings and out-goings. Perfect for any beginner who needs to grasp a firm understanding in data entry, formatting for currency, numerical and text data.
Courses are subject to ESFA eligibility. You must be 19 or over on or before 31 August 2023 and must have been a resident within the UK or EEA for at least three years or more. Further eligibility criteria may apply based on circumstances.
