CyNam: Ecosystems, Collaboration and Partnership event

CyNam's first learning and networking event of 2022 will take place next month.

Ecosystems, Collaboration and Partnership: What next for our thriving cyber-tech ecosystem? will take place on March 10 at Pittville Pump Rooms, Cheltenham.

In collaboration with IBM, CyNam will discuss the importance of an ecosystem approach to catalysing and commercialising innovation.

The event will look at examples of innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems from across the UK, to help attendees understand what we can all learn from others.

CyNam will explore the principles on which successful ecosystems operate and provide attendees with the opportunity to input into and shape this.

The line-up includes the following appearances and sessions:

• Opening keynote talk - Focusing on the importance of ecosystems to drive innovation, Priya Guha will set the scene

• Ecosystem panel session - Panellists from across the nation will explore the principles of strong entrepreneurial ecosystems in an interactive audience panel. The line-up features: Andrew Wilcock from IBM; Katie Muldoon from Yellowrattle Coaching; Monika Radclyffe from Plexal; and James Gavin from MOD

• Innovation Ecosystems in Action - Hear from event sponsors IBM and three start-up companies in quick-fire TED style talks, featuring Pimloc, Telicent and Whitespace

• NCSC ecosystem panel session - Chaired by Plexal, this panel session will include alumni companies from the Gloucestershire and Northern ecosystem, who will discuss how their ecosystem has helped the journey and development of their start-up companies. Companies include Pentest People, Lujam and Black Dice

• Student showcase- Hear from hosts Hub8 and four apprentices from Gloucestershire who have all been nominated by the public as inspirational apprentices in the region. They will give an overview of their apprentice journey and how the local ecosystem has contributed to their success

The event will recorded and available on-demand, but there will be no live streaming.
